First Images of Megatron
One of the curious questions is, if Megatron is returning, what will he look like? Energon Pub has hinted us to possible concept images of Megatron from the forthcoming Transformers movie! www.aintitcool.com have displayed these first images of Megatron, whilst reminding us of Hasbro COO Brian Goldner’s latest statement that images such as these “are very early forms of toys and will be revised and changed, and will gain tremendous detail as they move toward finished products”.
Originally, Megatron was able to transform into a Walther P38, expelling focused energy blasts. He can shrink his mass as he transforms, assuming sizes that comfortably allowing another Transformer or a human being to wield him. In one instance, he retained his full size and connected to jetmode Starscream’s underside.
His imposing robot structure is dominated by his primary weapon: his arm mounted fusion cannon, capable of leveling a cityscape in one blast. He can also sub dimensionally link the cannon to a black hole, generating even more powerful anti-matter blasts. However, this ability is almost never used, as it leaves him extremely weak.
If these images are any indication, he appears to be a kind of “looks like Galvatron” a bit from these pictures.
